Toronto Paramedic Services recognizes members of the public at annual award ceremony

Toronto Paramedic Services' Chief Paul Raftis, Councillor James Pasternak (Ward 10 York Centre), Chair of the Community Development and Recreation Committee, and Lieutenant General Richard Rohmer, Honorary Toronto Paramedic Services Chief today presented the annual Toronto Paramedic Services Awards at Toronto Emergency Headquarters.

City of Toronto removing abandoned bikes from streets, sidewalks 2016

The City of Toronto will be removing abandoned bicycles from city streets over the next few weeks to free up critical space for those who wish to park their bicycles.

City of Toronto initiating study to plan for new family friendly communities

The City of Toronto has initiated a study entitled Growing Up: Planning for Children in New Vertical Communities. The study examines how new multi-unit housing in high-density communities can better accommodate the needs of households with children and youth.

Increased fines for specific illegal parking on Toronto roads

In support of the City of Toronto's congestion management plan, fines for certain types of illegal parking have been increased and will take effect March 31.
